Installing CATIA V5

Download the required media from software.3ds.com

This next step depends on the number of zip folders that were downloaded when downloading the media. For older CATIA V5 media, there is usually one zip folder, however for newer CATIA V5 media, there will be two or more zip folders that were downloaded.

In the first case, where there is only one zip folder, right-click on the zip folder and select "Extract all." Open the extracted folder and run the file called "setup.exe."
In the second case, where there are two or more zip folders, create a new folder and extract each of the zip folders into the newly created folder. Be sure to extract the folders in the correct order (zip folder 1-2 first, zip folder 2-2 second, and so on…). This will merge the extracted folders into the newly created folder.
Thereafter, open the new folder and run the file called "setup.exe."

An installation dialogue box will pop up after running the setup.exe file. Keep all default settings as is and simply click next. If custom settings are required, these can be changed as necessary.
Continue until reaching the final page where you click on “Install”.
This will begin the CATIA V5 installation.
