Objectives
This course is designed to provide you with a broad skill set for using CATIA V5. It is a starting point for CATIA, and the knowledge gained is a prerequisite for many more specialised training courses. CATIA V5 Fundamentals should not be viewed as just a basic course as together with the key CATIA skills that are on offer the student will also pick up some very important engineering methodologies.

The course includes a mixture of presentation, tutorial and exercises, enabling students to gain hands-on experience. Course sizes are intentionally kept small, typically 6 students. This allows our trainers to meet the requirements of individual students, while relating course content to work related issues.

Objectives
Building on the Fundamentals course, CATIA V5 Advanced training takes you to the next level. As well as covering the more advanced capabilities of CATIA such as Power Copy, this course continues the development of ‘best practice’ methodologies. Students will be equipped to use the ‘Advanced’ features offered by the Part Design workbench and learn how to make use of component catalogues and how to store and create re-usable parameterised features.

The course includes a mixture of presentation, tutorial and exercises, enabling students to gain hands-on experience. The instructor has an engineering background and can relate to real world examples.

Objectives
This course covers the CATIA Generative Shape Design (GSD) workbenches and includes general tuition in surfacing concepts, quality and methodology. All key functions are covered along with recommended methods for constructing and editing history-based surface models. This course is suitable for a broad range of users, working in areas as diverse as geometry import and repair, tooling design, automotive body-in-white and race car design.

The course includes a mixture of presentation, tutorial and exercises, enabling students to gain hands-on experience. Course sizes are intentionally kept small, typically 6 students. This allows our trainers to meet the requirements of individual students, while relating course content to work related issues.

CATIA 3D Sheet Metal

CATIA V5 Fundamentals

Objectives
This course covers the basic operation of the Sheet Metal Design workbench. Delegates will learn how to create sheet metal parts starting with a primary wall system and then adding a host of basic and advanced sheet metal features. The course will also cover advanced sheet metal functionality as well as the creation of drawings using sheet metal parts in the drafting workbench.

The course includes a mixture of presentation, tutorial and exercises, enabling students to gain hands-on experience. Course sizes are intentionally kept small, typically 6 students. This allows our trainers to meet the requirements of individual students, while relating course content to work related issues.
