Intratech's roots in Southern Africa began in 2013, growing from Intrinsys South Africa through TECHNIA and into the independent Intratech business formed in 2020.
Today, Intratech continues to build on the same engineering expertise, Dassault Systèmes PLM capability and client-service approach established through the businesses that preceded it.

Built on Strong Foundations
Intrinsys South Africa Opens
In January 2013, Intrinsys, then a leading Dassault Systèmes Value Solutions Partner in the UK, extended its operations by opening an Intrinsys branch in South Africa.
Primarily serving the Automotive, Aerospace and Marine engineering sectors, the South African branch grew rapidly.
A Leading Dassault Systèmes Partner
Its approach combined leading Dassault Systèmes PLM solutions and fully accredited training with expert Engineering and Data Conversion services.
This growth saw the business become a leading Dassault Systèmes Value Solutions Partner in South Africa and created the opportunity to expand its offering into selected Sub-Saharan African countries.
Becoming Part of TECHNIA
In 2017, Intrinsys UK and RSA were acquired by the PLM division of Addnode Group and merged with other PLM solution providers within the group to become TECHNIA.
TECHNIA became Dassault's leading PLM solutions partner, with more than 20 global operations.
Intratech Is Formed
In 2020, Gary Longshaw, who had managed the RSA operations since the inception of Intrinsys in South Africa, carried out a management buyout of the TECHNIA RSA operations.
Intratech was formed.
Continuing the Legacy
With the same base of operations, the same team, and the same extensive skills and approach to client service fostered through the Intrinsys and TECHNIA brands that preceded it, Intratech continues to build on the strong foundations of its heritage.
Intratech remains a leading Dassault Systèmes Value Solutions Partner servicing the Southern African markets.
Intratech currently serves more than 100 clients across South Africa, Kenya, Ghana and Mauritius, spanning a wide variety of industry sectors and engineering disciplines.
