You can install Help Documentation if CATIA has already been installed, but there are a couple of settings which are required to be set afterwards. The documentation can be installed on each individual machine or on a shared location e.g. on a server. We recommend that if there are a large number of CATIA users, then installing on a shared location would be best suited. Having the CATIA Documentation files installed allows the user to access the help files though CATIA. The Help files provide documentation on basic tasks, glossaries, customisation (toolbars, standards and settings) and more.

The minimum requirement for using a current Dassault Systèmes product is a DSLS Server Release that matches the year of the respective product release, e.g., CATIA V5-6 R2022 requires at least DSLS License Server Release 2022x. Older CATIA releases with DSLS licensing will still be functional.

When using Dassault Systèmes products such as CATIA, there are various versions available.
The DSLS license server utility will only allow you to use the same version of CATIA or lower. If you are using CATIA V5-6R2022 and also have DSLS License Server R2021x then CATIA will not be able to obtain a license.
The good news is this can be resolved relatively quickly and easily. You will need to uninstall the older version of the DSLS License Server utility then install the new version after.
