GUIDE TO UPDATING DASSAULT SYSTÈMES LICENSE SERVER (DSLS)

Background

When using Dassault Systèmes products such as CATIA V5, there are various year versions which are available. In order for CATIA V5 to work, the year version of DSLS has to be the same or newer than the version of CATIA V5 which you are running.

For example, if you are using CATIA V5-6R2022, you will need to have DSLS R2022x (or the newer version i.e. R2024x) for CATIA V5 to work correctly. If you currently have an older version of DSLS and need to update to a newer version, you will need to uninstall the older version of DSLS and then install the new version.

Steps

  1. In the start menu, type “Add or remove programs” and open.

  1. Search for DS License Server and click on it.

  1. Click on “uninstall”.

  1. After you have uninstalled DSLS, you can install the newer version.
